He's Here!!! Welcome Gavin Jack Wherley!!!

Gavin arrived on his expected due date, Memorial Day, May 26th at 12:14pm. He weighed 7lbs 9oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. We are so amazed at God's wonderful gift to us. We are very blessed to now be the parents of two beautiful boys. We cannot believe how much Gavin looks like Grant when he was born. Gavin is a little smaller and has lighter hair. Ben's parents are here helping us, we could not have done it without them!! My parents will arrive next week. Here is a first look at our precious son Gavin

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. Ben and Grant picked out gifts, made breakfast and took me out to eat on Sunday after church. I am wearing the beautiful butterfly necklace that Grant picked out for me in the picture. Ben promises he really did pick it out himself.
We are all looking forward to meeting Gavin. We are expecting his arrival in about two weeks.
Here is a cute Grant saying that made me laugh this past week. I (Amy) do not enjoy eating fish although I know it is good for you. Ben and Grant both love it! Grant asked me the other day, "Mommy are you going to like fish in heaven?" I said "I supposed so." "Good! Because that's all they have in heaven is fish and bread" I am guessing that they read that story recently in Sunday school! Grant fills each day with joy and I am so thankful that God has blessed us with Him!!
