Welcome Home Gavin (Again)

God is faithful!!!! This has been the hardest two weeks Ben and I have faced but we are so thankful for all the friends and family who have been praying for our us....We could not have made it without your prayers and God's help. We had some wonderful nurses and doctors who reassured us and watched over precious Gavin. We are so thankful for them and the care they gave him. Gavin endured more tests and procedures then I could of, he was a trooper! We were able to bring him home on Saturday evening and Grandma Wherley had prepared a welcome home party for Gavin. We were so excited to celebrate his second homecoming!!

Gavin Update

Gavin is doing well. He has been able to receive his medication through the pic line due to the care of some wonderful nurses. We should be able to bring him home this Saturday night as long as nothing changes. Thank you all so much for all of your prayers. We know Gavin has recovered so well due to God's grace. Please pray for the continued health of our whole family and for energy for Ben and I.

Thanks the Wherley Family

Update on Prayer Request for Gavin

Gavin needs to have a pic line iv in order to receive the antibiotics more easily and they are having difficulty getting it work because of his age. Please pray that they are able to get it to work properly and that there are no complications with it inside of him.
Thanks, The Wherely Family Friday June 13th

Prayer Request for Precious Gavin

Sunday night Gavin went by ambulance to the Er because he had trouble breathing. He was in the ICU for two days and many tests were run. He is being treated for bacterial meningitis (not the most dangerous form but a different type) He is doing well due to God's grace. He is eating and looks much more like himself. He will have to be there 12 more days in order to receive the IV antibiotics he needs. Please pray that he will continue to improve and our entire family will be covered from getting any other illness. We praise God for his improvement and thank everyone for all their prayers. They are felt and appreciated!!!!

Love, The Wherleys

Gavin is One Week Old!!!

We are enjoying getting to know our new little one. He is a very happy boy, who loves to eat and sleep. He has a wonderful big brother who likes to hold, kiss and sing to him. We are a little tired but unbelievably happy.
