Playing Outside

The boys love playing in our backyard. We have to wait till evening though because it is so hot. After dinner Gavin waits at the door until we let him out. Grandma and Grandpa Wherley got the boys a sand box for their birthdays which they love. Gavin still has to taste the sand each time! We learned that due to the extreme heat the foundations of the houses have to be watered in the summer to avoid cracking. The lawns are also irrigated. One night we turned the sprinklers on and let the boys run they had a blast! They ran and ran until bath and bedtime.
